Thank you to these BEAUTIFUL sisters who spent a couple of nights with us. Many might remember them as the “Nelson girls from South Hill”. Julie, Susie & Jane from Spirit Lake, Virginia & Austin Texas did a sisters trip❤️ Their Dad had an appliance store and then later purchased the Hamm’s distributing down by Johnnys Steakhouse. Their mom worked on the 3rd floor of the courthouse. They had such fond memories🧡🖤 We so appreciate your business!

We ended up serving 125 people Sunday so thank you! We weren’t sure how many to expect and we are happy with that ) the cookies were from Iced & Illustrated and we had tons of compliments on them, so thank you! The turkey fillets were from Fareway by special order.

( side story ) you know I grew up on NW Iowa. Turkey facilities all around. You could find them in every grocery store meat counter. Turkey fillets were served at every ballgame along with burgers, hot dogs etc so I felt proud to introduce something to SW Iowa! They come as a breast and you simply take the tendon out of the middle,cut in half, marinate in Italian dressing, grill & serve in a hotdog bun with BBQ sauce ). Your grocers can order for you. Thank you Ed for grilling for us so Jeff could mingle.

A special thanks to Becca who helped me peel 40 pounds of potatoes and diced up the veggies for the pasta salad. 💪💪

We were pleased for our first party and here’s to many more down the line!

Take 1, Take 2, Take 3! Darren & Linda were trying to make a ❤️ with their hands and it was rather comical as you can see by their laughs ( and ours ). Thank you so much for staying with us!

A huge shoutout to Pickinric Hillyard and his guys for playing at our event Sunday. Nothing but compliments from everyone. I know it was hot and they were troopers and pushed through it. Shoutout to Grant Vrba and Doug Allensworth for the use of the hay rack as well!

Jumped on quick to say a quick thank you to everyone that showed up for our party today! We are exhausted and so many to thank and I will when my brain can think🤣😂🤣 for now, here’s a pic of my employees and family that helped ) not pictured was Ed, he grilled for us and Truman who made a last minute trip to the airport to get our Aly whose plane had been delayed twice and Lorie who was flipping our farmhouse from guests.

We had the pleasure of having Devin here this week. Some of you may have seen him as he is an insurance adjuster from North Carolina. He had some long days so it was nice to have a cool place to relax.
