🎉 Congratulations to Tribal Chairman Jack Potter, aka “The Jackpot Bandit!”

Jack set out to raise $5,000 for Youth Options Shasta and blew past his goal, raising an incredible $7,950!

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped Jack make bail. Every dollar raised will support programs and resources that make a lasting difference for local youth and families.

**Carrying Culture Workshop**

Join us for an evening of meaningful conversation, cultural connection, and shared learning.

Through a talking circle and cultural exchange, participants will explore what it means to carry and care for culture through both traditional and progressive perspectives.

The conversation will reflect on the role of prayer, ceremony, language, storytelling, song, and dance, along with the ways media, music, and fashion influence how culture is understood and carried today.

By creating a safe space for open conversation, attendees will have the opportunity to share, express themselves, and recognize their important role in carrying culture forward for future generations.

Join us October 2 through October 4, 2026, for the Stillwater Pow Wow at the Redding Rodeo Grounds, located at 715 Auditorium Drive in Redding.

Everyone is welcome. This event is open to the public and welcomes all ages. Please note that drugs and alcohol are not permitted.

🥁We are honored to welcome Host Drum, Ozuye of North Dakota, and Guest Drum, Red Hoop of Nevada.

The weekend will include dance competitions for Junior, Teen, Adult, and Golden Age dancers in Fancy, Grass, Jingle, and Traditional categories, along with a Drum Contest, Spotlight Men and Women, All Around Men and Women, and Auntie’s and Uncle’s Biggest Earrings Contest.

Come experience a weekend of dancing, songs, community, and celebration. We look forward to seeing you there. ❤️

Chairman Potter is participating in Locked Up for Youth fundraiser as the notorious Jackpot Bandit. Now he needs our community’s help to make bail!
