We close for the season on October 31st and what a great one it has been. Thanks to all who told us what a great time they had.

This fire is not near our Resort and we are not affected by smoke at this time. However, many guests travel this route from Eugene to Reedsport, so please read the notice below.

If you were planning to travel through the Mapleton area during the Labor Day weekend, please find an alternate route to the coast.

There will be heavy fire traffic in and around Mapleton and on Highway 126. Travelers can expect to see road closures, delays and firefighting equipment moving around the area. If you do plan an alternate route, verify that your route is passable. Do not rely solely on mapping apps, which can lead drivers to roads impassable for recreational vehicles or passenger cars.

While firefighting is exciting to watch, we encourage drivers to keep their focus on the road and avoid pulling over along highways and other routes as this can be unsafe and cause delays or backups.

Loon Lake is a lovely place to kayak or canoe. There is also a feeder creek for more seclusion.
Our overnight guests can rent at our on-site marina and then enjoy!
