A piece of Rehoboth history 🌊 Have you ever wondered where the name comes from?

"Rehoboth" is a Hebrew word meaning "room for all," and it couldn't be more fitting for this warm, welcoming town that has been drawing people to its shores since 1873. What started as a Methodist camp meeting ground grew into one of the most beloved beach destinations on the entire East Coast.

Over the decades, Rehoboth Beach became a haven for artists, writers, politicians, families, and free thinkers. It was so beloved by Washington D.C. vacationers that it earned the nickname "Nation's Summer Capital."
