The Henlopen Hotel has welcomed guests to Rehoboth Beach since 1879, and its walls tell that story.
In 2025, Wilmington artist Wish Unlimited painted a mural by hand along the length of the hotel's walkway. It takes guests through nearly 150 years of Delaware beach history. We're taking a look back at how it all came together, one brushstroke at a time. Every panel reflects what makes this place so special: generations of summers, memories, and moments by the ocean.
