About Bubastis Oasis
Bubastis Oasis is an official chartered body of Ordo Templi Orientis, U.S. Grand Lodge (aka the Caliphate; see Equinox III:10 ) operating in Dallas, Texas. body in Texas, and one of the oldest in the region. We offer a welcome environment to nurture creativity, spirituality and self-expression through the sacred rites of ritual, dramatic enactments, as well as physical and men
tal exercises, which are designed to facilitate the growth of the individual and assist him or her in the acquisition of Light, Wisdom, Understanding, Knowledge, and Power. This diverse body of Initiates is devoted to the establishment of a new social order through the security of individual and personal liberties, which are governed by a strict system of values and ideals. We are dedicated to growing our membership by providing a place where individuals of like mind can be together in tolerance and fraternity. We encourage our members to study Liber Al vel Legis, The Book of The Law to bring them closer to their True Wills and to the liberty of the individual. We celebrate Liber XV, The Gnostic Mass publicly on a regular basis, and also offer various other events which are open to the public. Periodically we offer classes, social functions, and rituals celebrating the Thelemic holidays for the public to enjoy along-side our members.
