We’re going to add something new for Thursday nights: requests for Peggy’s Test Kitchen (she’s become quite the sous chef).

Starting November 12 (or even this week, depending on the response), in addition to the full menu, we’ll feature one or two specials at YOUR REQUEST! That is, tell us what your favorites have been from past dining experiences at Pier450. With your input, we’ll pick a couple and announce them each week.

No pre-purchase or reservations required. Just makes plans to come try your favorites from dinners past.

This week’s Pop-up Wednesday — Brazil!

Each Wednesday we travel; our menu is a three course meal for just $42, which you can also order à la carte. Reservations aren’t required, though we always appreciate it, at Pier450.com.

The menu:

FIRST COURSE
Pao de Queijo with Palmito Salad
Warm Brazilian cheese puffs with heart of palm and tomato salad in a lime vinaigrette

SECOND COURSE
Feijoada Completa
Black bean stew with smoked pork, ribs and linguica with rice, garlicky collards, farofa and orange

Or

Moqueca Bajana
Coconut-pepper fish stew with dende oil, cilantro, lime and white rice

THIRD COURSE
Pudim de Leite with Passion Fruit
Condensed milk caramel flan with a passion fruit sauce and toasted coconut
