The Night Before Camp ECHO โบ
The bags are packed, the shirts are folded, the last-minute lists are checked once more.
Paint brushes wait, name tags are stacked, and excitement dances through the evening air.
Tomorrow, the people will come, the cabins will fill, and familiar laughter will echo across Cedar Lakes Conference Center once again.
Friends who have waited all year will reunite with hugs, stories, and smiles that pick up right where they left off.
This year feels a little different.
A little brighter. A little sweeter.
Because this is our 50th anniversary.
For fifty years, Camp ECHO has been a place where extraordinary things happen.
A place where exceptional people, dedicated volunteers, passionate staff, supportive families, and incredible clients come together to create something bigger than themselves.
A place where confidence grows, friendships bloom, and memories last a lifetime.
This year's theme, "All Country Roads Lead Home," celebrates the heart and spirit of Appalachiaโ our mountains, our traditions, our resilience, and the communities that remind us where we ALL belong.
And what a beautiful reminder that home is not just a place.
Home is the people who welcome you. The friends who save you a seat. The mentors who believe in you. The volunteers who show up. The donors who give. The community that rallies behind a dream year after year.
Camp ECHO would not be possible without the support of our community, our Telethon donors, sponsors, and everyone who helps make this week a reality.
Tonight, we rest.
Tomorrow, we celebrate.
Fifty years of memories. Fifty years of friendships. Fifty years of proving what is possible when a community comes together.
Follow along this week as we celebrate our roots, our community, and the journey that always brings us back home.
Because at Camp ECHO, all country roads truly lead home.
Happy Camp ECHO week! ๐๐๐๏ธ๐ถ
