The SILVER HEARTH LODGE is a private and gated outdoor events facility that encompasses the very top of Bent Mountain...we are the ONLY private mountain top wedding venue in the entire south east! The elevation on the summit is 3000' above sea level and the views of Roanoke Valley and the Blue Ridge Mountains go on and on and on as far as the eye can see. This refined rustic "day lodge" offers weather shielded structures to accommodate up to 300 for a wedding ceremony and/or a 'seated' reception event in VistaView Hall, a smaller mountains edge facility at the Overlook Pavilion and several more intimate social areas at this nature inspired property...if it rains, you're still outdoors but protected! If the temperature is a bit chilly, we have heaters to address this concern and it is rarely too hot up here on the mountain top although we do have fans just in case. Overnight accommodations for you/your guests are provided by our 2 strategic alliance partners - the Holiday Inn Tanglewood [Roanoke] and the Holiday Inn University [Blacksburg] (both are full service hotels) who will provide a beautiful facility for all of your guests at a deeply discounted rate...they will even help with your transportation needs to and from our venue! We also have an extensive list of caterers & professional wedding vendors who have agreed to offer their services to our brides at VERY reasonable rates! Your special day will be easy, affordable & incredible because of all that we offer...we don't really have any restrictions, like most venues, as far as which caterers/vendors you can use. Just in case you were wondering, alcohol is allowed and no ABC license is required here. While the sights, sounds and feelings of nature provide a soothing mood for those who visit the SILVER HEARTH LODGE, transporting its guests to a serene state of mind, body and spirit, it is hard to imagine that the top of Bent Mountain is only minutes from and overlooking Roanoke, VA. During your visit, we encourage you to view our luxurious bridal suite, the grooms SUGAR CAMP, an 1890’s domed wrought iron wedding (chapel) gazebo, SKYSHELTER I-our new Ralph Lauren inspired “glamping” cabin, the refined rustic guest bathrooms, our Starbucks featured coffee bar known as Horizons Café, the caterers kitchen, a high tech dance floor/lights, various bon fire areas and our prized “sipping” porch with vintage wooden rocking chairs while here.
