🍂 Big Blue Ridge Parkway news, just in time for peak color!

The National Park Service has reopened more of the Parkway in North Carolina, including stretches near Linville Falls (MP 317.5 to 324.7) and Little Switzerland (MP 333.9 to 340.2).

That brings 458 of the Parkway’s 469 miles back open, with an uninterrupted drive from Virginia’s James River all the way to Little Switzerland.

⛺ Loops B and D at Julian Price Campground (MP 297) are open to campers again, and you can reserve through Oct. 30 on recreation.gov.

🚧 The final stretch, MP 344 to 355, stays closed while crews finish repairs. It’s slated to reopen by the end of 2026. Please respect all closures and check road status before you go.
