Poppy’s Paradise

Was a long week leading into Labor Day dealing with my “real job.” Typical for pretty much any holiday for me. But I still squeezed in the time to get down to Rockport today between bookings to check on everything and fix a few things.

Then I saw this note and the attached review posted shortly after I got here. Big smiles for the rest of the day.

Really love taking care of our guests, and hearing about how much they love Poppy’s.

Can’t thank all the people who helped us make this possible during the last off-season.

Things will only get better from here.

Poppy’s Paradise - Treats for Our Guests

We’ve been providing sweet treats for our guests this summer from the Blonde Bomber Bakery, and it’s been a hit.

Run by a local gal in town, her cheesecakes are amazing; the flavors and options are almost endless; and she comes through every time.

She’s also a great option for our guests who are celebrating weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, etc.

It’s a lot easier to deliver quality services to guests with the help of the great locals in town.

If you have a sweet tooth and happen to be in Rockport, call her for your own custom-made treats.

As we moved towards the end of the renovation, my architect was surveying the landscape and said “you really need a projector screen on the backside of the boat barn above the hot tub.” I understood immediately, and we made it happen. it’s now a favored feature of the whole house.

Brought the kids and their friends down before the next check-in so they can swim while I work on some things.
