We want to thank everyone for an amazing Labor day weekend and to remind you that our restaurant and lounge are always closed Mondays! It is a day of rest for the crew. They all work so hard to ensure that you have a great experience. You see the front of house rockstars (like BLAKE, Bobby, Kara, Hilda, Jessica, Julie, Jeanette, and Martha) but the back of house team is off the charts great (Craig, Paul, Keag, John, Josh, Keith, Mike, Noah, Cindy, Rudy, ). Today is going to be a beauty: our marina is ooen for boat rentals and fuel and the front desk and gift shop are ooen too!

Good morning from The Birches Resort on Moosehead Lake's Western shore! The weather looks good for music on the porch today (WhiskeyDan from 1 to 4) and for fly-in too!!! We are serving 8am to 8pm today and the restaurant is closed Mondays. We strongly suggest and greatly appreciate dinner reservations. See you at the lodge!

Oh my, Jeanette has outdone herself with these Labor Day weekend cakes! They'll be ready for dinner! Orange Cake with Orange Buttercream and Blood Orange Liquear Glaze, Vanilla Cake with Chantilly Cream and Sliced Strawberries, Coconut Cake with Coconut Buttercream, Chocolate Cake with Maple Bourbon Buttercream and Blueberry Crumb and Peanut Butter Pies.
Chef Craig and his team have prime rib on special so be sure to call for reservations!!!

It may be yucky outside today but it is warm and yummy in the lodge. We are serving 8am to 8pm today and this BBQ meatloaf sandwich with a choice of side is the lunch special for $16! Come enjoy breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner lakeside and warm by one of our fires.

Yesterday was another fantastic Sunday Fun Day! The weather held out and the crowd was great Jones'n always gets people dancing! Today is a day of rest for the best restaurant crew ever (the restaurant is closed Mondays). Next Sunday, WhiskeyDan is back on the porch from 1 to 4.There are a few lodging opportunities over the next week: cabins 4 and 5 are available 9/2-9/5, cabin 8 is available 9/5-9/10, Strangers in Paradise is open today through 9/6, and Gill House is open 9/3-9/11.
