Upcoming Retreats at the Claiborne House Inn:

Do you love getting away for a few days to concentrate on a hobby or interest, in a lovely space and unique town?

Book our property for your own retreat, or join one of the upcoming creative retreats now available. All of our retreats are in cooperation with Fork Mtn Quilting, of Rocky Mount, where we will create in their wonderful classroom space, and have the opportunity to experience this fabulous shop and their knowlegdeable staff.

▪️July 6-11: Barn Quilt Class, SMLake Quilt Guild Quilt Show st FCHS, and Open Sew
‼️Deadline to register is June 25.‼️

▪️October 12-15: Regional Shop Hop and Open Sew. Experience a mini Shop Hop in southwest Virginia and all these shops have to offer. Plus Open Sew sessions!

▪️November 16-20: Quiltsgiving and Barn Quilt Class Retreat. Are you working on projects to give or donate? This is your retreat! Plus, take a break and create a Barn Quilt (for you or to give) with Deanna's Delightful Barn Quilt Designs.

▪️December 7-11: Wrap It Up Retreat.
Pull all those holiday gift projects together and finish them here. Sew, have it longarmed (at Fork Mtn Quilt Shop), bind, knit, crochet, paint. Do it all to Wrap It Up for the holiday season.

Hello from snowy, slippery Rocky Mount!

Not much happening here at the Inn while Fern rages around us, but thankful we still have power. A hush as settled on the town, but it looks calm and peaceful whitewashed in the snow and sleet. Take a stroll around town and see what some of the shops and highlights look like dressed in white.
