I think the thing about Paige that resonates with me is that she is always interested in getting to know everyone on both a personal and professional level. She has the uncanny ability to draw people out and get them to talk about themselves as she keeps asking and probing in a respectful and caring way. Maybe that is Sales 101 but I think it is more than that…….it’s a special person that genuinely wants to get to know people and cares about them.

MEET Kate Goedde! Our newest internal promotion.

Some people travel for a living and spend the vast majority of their time away from home. My passion is making guests feel like my hotel is their home away from home. My name is Kate and I consider myself lucky at 31 years old to wake up every morning eager to be doing what I love. I joined the Griffin team back in March of 2019 as the Sales Leader for the Hampton by Hilton located in Princeton, Indiana. Before that, I had the opportunity of wearing multiple hats on the operations team dating back to my start date in March of 2016. Ultimately, I strive to appreciate life to the fullest and remind myself to enjoy every step on this path that I forge for myself.

Thirsty?

How to Make an Authentic Irish Coffee

Starting with a warm glass, fill 2/3rds full of freshly brewed coffee. Stir in a heaping teaspoon of sugar. Add 1 ounce of Irish whiskey.

Adding the cream, so it floats is the tricky part. However, others recommend whipping cream (not whipped cream) that has been lightly whipped or foamed.

When the coffee has stopped swirling from stirring in the sugar, pour the foamy cream over the back of a spoon.
