Was so glad to help out last night through another bad ice storm in Roscoe. A young lady was sitting in her car since 5:00 at the local 7-11 until she heard about Plowboy Lodge at 9:00. She followed the concerned Roscoe citizen to the lodge and she was able to find a nice warm place to stay the night. I'm so glad to be able to offer this, especially on nights like this--makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. :)

Thanks goodness I was able to help a lady from the Dallas area who totaled her car south of Roscoe late last night on I20 in front of the Bandera area. She was traveling with a small daughter--neither were injured, thank the Lord. With the help of a local Roscoe resident driving her to Sweetwater, she said all the hotels were full, so they called Plowboy Lodge and I had one room left. I was glad to be able to accommodate. Her husband drove in from the east and said it looked like a "war zone" out there with cars turned over, in ditches, wrecks with multiple vehicles, etc. It was so bad that he almost stayed in Abilene for fear of traveling on this direction. Hope all is MUCH safer traveling the rest of the week.

To accommodate those coming to Roscoe, Texas, we are currently adding two more rooms here at Plowboy Lodge--will post pix when completed. They will be smaller but room to crash after a fun night at The Lumberyard.
