Getting Old or
Thoughts to Ponder.
Aging is a blessing but it does take some adjustments in your life style. I remember when I wanted to go to every event that was available, no matter how far away or what time it was. Now my mind and body are telling me, I’ve been there and done that, so just relax and stay put. I used to like to run jump, swim, and chase. Now I like to sit, walk, relax, ponder, and nap!
I now, actually enjoy watching more than participating in many activities! I feel so blessed that I have had a great life and am still here to enjoy my senior years. Give thanks often.
Did you realize that this verse is in 2 places in the bible!

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
1 Chronicles 16:34 NIV

"Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever."
Psalm 107:1:

Thank you for all of Nice Birthday Greetings! It was another Great Birthday Day, as I celebrated with a few extra treats at Hidden Hill Lodge with my other 10 siblings. We went to the farm and hung out together.
I had mentioned embarrassing baby or puppy pictures. Well here is my most embarrassing video! I was really hitting the high notes that day! 6 weeks old and total in my own space! Do you have a baby picture to share?
Have a Great Day and Remember that God Loves You, and so do I!

Well here is ”Cry Me A River by Miss Ruby”

Guess whose Birthday it is today!
Baby Pictures can be a little embarrassing. When I was a young pup I loved to hear myself bark and make noise. I chased everything and I’m sure I drove my Sisters Maggie and Sandy crazy! I was the youngest
Dog here at Hidden Hill lodge
and now I am the oldest. “Man How Time Flies”. I have had a great life and wouldn’t have wanted to live anywhere else. Hunt pheasants all fall, and spend day and nights in an air conditioned and heated “Dog Cave”! I was actually born 12 years ago today. I get older, a few things have changed in my life. I seem to appreciate little things more. I can no longer hear, but I see good. I run 2 times a day and swim or should I say get my legs wet almost every day. The young pups, Bullet and Scout love the water, like I used to, but now it’s easier for me to just walk up to my belly and drink water. But as I get older, I also I look at situations differently. Getting up and down is different, it seems to be easy to get down, but hard to get up. Is there a thing in your life that you do differently than you used too. Another age thing is, I look to see what the shorter route is before heading out. I’d like to hear about some of the things that have changed for you as you have gotten older.
Happy Birthday to Me!

Rubys Ramblings,
A few years ago, about 2021, Dad had this aluminum V thingy made for the White Ranger. He can adjust it up and down. It is very light and easy to hook up and take off. He only puts it on when it is not hunting season. Us dogs do not like it because it looks like a big snowplow heading at us while we are out running. Without the V thing, we can look under vehicles and not be so scared. The V thingy definitely makes us pay attention to the Ranger a lot more when we go exercising. Dad had it made after Molly went to heaven, and named it the Molly Guard. I’ll see if I can find my story about Molly and post the story later.
Dad says Molly was a Super Puppy that broke his Heart when she went to Heaven .
Today is the Day the Lord Hath made, Rejoice and be Glad in it!

Ruby’s Ramblings
We are taken for a run at least 2 times a day. Loading can be a little chaotic at times! But so much Fun! We “normally” have 8 in the back and 3 in the front, but what’s really normal when you have 11 of us dogs?
We are super excited about going for our runs in the mornings and evenings, because that means that meal time comes next! Mom ordered this collapsible step thingy and Dad said it was going to be a waste of money! Once again, Mom was right! We love loading with the steps! When we unload, Dad will drive down on a sharp ditch so we can hop out and take off running. Why do we go running at least 2 times a day? Being the oldest of the pack, by the way, I’ll be 12 on May 27th, I’ve figured a few things out in my life. Well, I’ve noticed that for one thing exercising keeps us fit for hunting season, but I think the biggest reason is to get us away from the yard is to go the bathroom! Yes our bathroom is outside, and with 11 of us dogs it is a lot easier for our caregivers, when we go to the bathroom in the tall grass away from our kennel. It seems like after we run for just a little distance, we are all doing our bathroom duties. The pups think it’s about the racing, but I know it’s about fitness and being trained to go potty away from the beaten path!
Life is Good, Live it to the Fullest!
Ruby
