Hidden Hill Lodge is a hunting and fishing lodge located in the Glacial Lakes Area of northeast South Dakota. Enjoy first class accommodations including clean, comfortable rooms, and delicious home cooked meals. Breakfast, lunch, and fantastic dinners featuring Prime Rib, Lobster and some of the best steaks around. The lodge offers 11 bedrooms (sleeps 34), 2 kitchens, game room and 2 large decks. The property is surrounded by natural prairie grasslands and cattail sloughs, the perfect habitat for wild pheasant and migrating waterfowl. The area's Glacial Lakes offer world class walleye fishing. We have 30 lakes within 30 miles and Hidden Hill Lake right outside our front door. Our goal is to make your stay a lifelong memory, because once you experience our service, you will be family.

Rubys Ramblings,
“Terrible Twos”
My little brothers Bullet and Scout are almost through the “Terrible Twos” we all hope!
Yes, that is 1 year and 1 month = “2”
It seems like Scout is hanging onto the “Naughty Puppy Syndrom” more than Bullet is.
Every morning there are still shoes and dog beds out in the back yard. They had their first birthday last week so they are now in the pheasant fields with the rest of us.
Bullet had that bone chip taken out of his shoulder and so he does limp and probably will the rest of his life. He has a lot of energy and so the limp doesn’t seem to slow him down much! He loves to go into the water by the dock and bark at the weeds that tickle his legs. Well, the other day, Dad called him to come eat and Bullet was about 75 yards away from the dock down by the shore. Well here comes “Proud Bullet” carrying something that looks huge compared to him! Yepper it was a pheasant rooster that the hunters had shot earlier, and it had floated to the shore. Bullet found it and was one proud puppy as he carried it all the way from the lake up to Dad.
Bullet and Scout have the “Pheasant Hunting Fever” and are going to fit in nicely around here at Hidden Hill Lodge!

Ruby’s Ramblings 9-22-26
Houston We Have a Problem,
Maybe 2!
Someone got into the toilet paper roll and nobody is fessing up! Mom and Dad asked us all to come over and look at the mess on the rug! Well does anyone know who did this to the toilet paper roll? We all looked at each other and then we stared at our youngest 2 brothers, Bullet and Scout. It’s not like we are going to rat them out, but when they looked at Mom and Dad, I know that they knew who did it! Especially with paper still stuck to Scouts lower lip! We’ve all pretty much “Been There, Done That!”
Yepper, Bullet and Scout are still in their Terrible Twos (1 year and 1 month = 2)
It’s not Mom and Dads first Rodeo, Dog Rodeo that is. They learned years ago to roll with the punches and love the puppy innocence instead of fighting it. It’s not that they love it, but they love the puppies and they know the puppies will grow out of their puppy stage in good time.
So until then they will have to keep the bathroom door closed, put the shoes & boots up high, keep bringing the dog beds back to the dog cave from the back yard, put the Amazon boxes out of reach, but plywood in front of anything important, and the list goes on and on!
I’d like to know your dogs name, and what was a mischievous thing that it did as a puppy.
