We would like to thank the first responders and the many volunteers who helped the village of Ruidoso over the last week when tragedy struck.
We are deeply saddened that many of our friends lost their homes, their possessions, their vehicles and live stock.
Our prayers will forever be with those who lost loved ones to this senseless act of violence. 💔

We want to thank everyone for reaching out to us and praying for our home away from home.

Meet the owners of Bear Country Cabin, Jaime & Gina Velasco.
Their love for Ruidoso is the reason behind their purchase of the cabin.
After years and years of visiting year round, they thought to themselves... Why not buy our own cabin?! So, three and a half years ago they embarked on this adventure... and it has been so rewarding. They love getting to share their cabin with friends, family & other Ruidoso lovers. Jaime & Gina love to ride the mountain trails, visit local antique shops, and go to the horse races. The 4th of July fireworks at the Inn of the Mountain Gods is especially one of their favorite times to visit so they can view the amazing show.
These owners will make sure your time at the cabin is amazing - always feel free to reach out for any questions or concerns.
