Locals wil

l tell you all about their memories of Rainbow Lake as far back as the 1950's. We hear stories from our guests about their visits to Rainbow Lake in Ruidoso, NM. They usually go like this - when they were little kids their parents used to take them to go fishing in our trout ponds. Currently, we don't allow fishing, but we still love to hear the stories. Today, you can come and feed our Rainbow Trout in our feeding pond and bring your family for the next generation to tell us their stories about visiting Rainbow Lake!

Thank you to everyone that visited the park in the last year. I have met some amazing people and will cherish the memories. My brother and I are passing the torch to a younger generation. Please continue to come enjoy the park. If you see us around town, please say hi!!

Great news! We have power!! If you're an evacuee and need a space, please let me know. We are not opening the park this weekend (exceptto evacuees, first responders etc). Going to let everyone here, get food from the fridge/ freezer thrown out, clothes washed, etc. I really want to thank everyone for pitching in and helping out all over Ruidoso. Good morning, just an update. We still do not have power to the cabins and rv sites. They are working soooooo hard for us. Please continue to understand. I will update on here as soon as we have power and can start bringing people into the park. Evacuees are welcome, but for now.. it's just a spot and water. 💚💪

We still do NOT have power to most of the park. There is a broken thing on the power pole. We have a call in to PMN. They are busting their guts for us.
Please bare with us. I understand you are wanting to keep your reservations. I will update ASAP when we are up and running. At this time, until we are fully functional.. we are NOT accepting reservations. Please do not call me over and over for reservations in May, please let us get over this obstacle first. I am trying to keep my phone charged by back up packs. Evacuees are welcome. Please understand we can only offer a spot at this time. No power.
