While we continue to navigate the challenges brought on by the recent fires and flooding, we want to take a moment to wish everyone a Happy Independence Day! 🎆

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the brave first responders who continue to protect our community. Their dedication and hard work do not go unnoticed, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to them.

Please be informed that as the Village of Ruidoso remains closed to visitors at this time, the reopening of Pinecliff Village is tentatively set for July 26th as we prioritize your safety above all else. We thank you for your continued understanding during these trying circumstances.

As we move through the day, our area is expected to receive a significant amount of rain which will result in dangerous debris flows.

Debris flows often happen in areas where excessive rain causes soil to become so saturated it turns into very runny mud. The mud then races downhill, picking up debris such as fallen branches, tree trunks, and rocks as it goes. Debris flows can bury homes under piles of mud and debris. Know the risks of the area where you live so you can prepare your family and home before heavy rains threaten your area.

If you did not evacuate, please be aware of your surroundings today and be prepared to move to higher ground.

Update: Pinecliff Village to Remain Closed

Attention Pinecliff Village Guests and Owners,

Following the urgent evacuation due to the South Fork Fire and the nearby Salt Fire, Pinecliff Village Resort will remain closed until July 5th. As soon as we can safely access the property and assess the condition, we will determine whether we can reopen on July 5th or if an extended closure is necessary.

Your safety remains our top priority. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as soon as they are available. Please stay tuned to local news and AM radio for further information and stay safe!

URGENT NOTICE

Attention Pinecliff Village Guests and Owners,

Due to the fast-moving South Fork Fire in the Ruidoso area, Pinecliff Village Resort has been evacuated and is now closed. Additionally, a second fire, the Salt Fire, is just south of Ruidoso and has grown to 4,876 acres with 0% containment. Pinecliff Village is located between these two fires. Your safety is our top priority.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as soon as they become available. Please stay tuned to local news and AM radio for further information and stay safe!
