🚨 STOP. THINK. VERIFY. 🚨

The Biddeford-S**o Elks Lodge #1597 encourages our community to stay informed about scams and look out for one another. Scammers can use a friendly message, a familiar name, or a frightening “emergency” to gain your trust.

❤️ Be cautious when an online romantic interest asks for money.
📞 If someone claims to be your bank, a government agency, or a loved one, pause and verify through a number you trust.
🎁 If someone demands payment by gift card, stop it’s a scam!

Pressure and secrecy are red flags. Take your time, ask questions, and talk with someone you trust before sending money or sharing personal information.

Share this with your friends and family, awareness helps protect our community! 💙
