A Tribute to a Wonderful Man, Mentor, and Friend…
Some people come into your life and leave a mark that will last a lifetime. You were one of those people.
When you sold us Popa Duck Lodge, you gave us so much more than a business. You gave our family an opportunity, placed your trust in us, and allowed us to carry forward something that meant so much to you. What we will always cherish most, though, is that your support didn't end when the sale was complete. You continued to encourage us, offer advice, and stand behind us throughout the years. That kind of loyalty, trust, and friendship is something we will forever be grateful for.
You were more than a mentor. You were a wonderful neighbor, a genuine friend, and someone who truly cared-Family!
Your continued support meant more than you probably ever realized, and the example you set will always stay with us.
Popa Duck Lodge is so much more than a place to hunt. It is a place where people gather each season, friendships grow, stories are shared, and memories are made that last a lifetime. From this day forward, every season will carry a little more meaning. Every familiar face, every story told, and every memory shared will be a reminder of you and the part you played in bringing people together.
Although you may no longer be here with us, your presence will never truly leave Popa Duck Lodge. The people who gather there will remember you, speak your name, share their stories, and carry your memory forward for years to come. What you helped build will continue to touch lives, and your legacy will live on through every person who walks through those doors.
It's hard to say goodbye to someone who has meant so much to our family, but we will always be thankful that our paths crossed. Thank you for believing in us, for trusting us with Popa Duck Lodge, for continuing to support us, and most of all, for being the kind of friend and neighbor everyone is blessed to have.
We hope you knew just how much you meant to us. We will carry the lessons you've taught us, the kindness you've shown us, and the memories we've shared for the rest of our lives. And as our daughter grows, we hope she will come to know the stories, the friendships, and the legacy of the man who helped make Popa Duck Lodge such a special place.
You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten. Your legacy lives on at Popa Duck Lodge, in the memories of the people who gather there each season, and in the hearts of all those whose lives you touched.
Rest peacefully, our friend. Our family will forever be grateful for you, and we will do our best to honor your memory and keep your legacy alive.
