25 Years Later — We Will Never Forget
September 11, 2001 — a day that forever changed our nation.
Today, 25 years later, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the first responders, firefighters, police officers, service members, and everyday heroes who showed extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy.
We remember those who went to work that morning and never came home.
We remember those who ran toward danger to help others.
We remember the families who have carried their loss for 25 years.
And we remember how, in the days that followed, our country came together as one.
A quarter of a century has passed, but we will never forget.
May we continue to honor their memory through kindness, courage, compassion, and unity.
