Big Arbor Vitae Lake is one of the Northwoodsโ€™ most popular fishing destinations and for good reason.

Known for musky, walleye, bass, crappie, bluegill, and northern pike, this 1,090-acre lake offers anglers the chance to target multiple species in a single day.

Fishing reports have been encouraging this season, with walleye being found in emerging w**d beds, bass moving shallow as water temperatures rise, and panfish action picking up throughout the lake.

Before heading out, remember a few key regulations:

โ€ข ๐–๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฒ๐ž: 3 fish daily limit (only 1 over 14โ€)
โ€ข ๐Œ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ค๐ฒ: 40โ€ minimum length, 1 fish daily
โ€ข ๐๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ: 14โ€ minimum length, 5 fish daily combined

There is something special about strolling through the pines on a summer morning and discovering handmade treasures around every corner.

On Saturday, June 13, the Walk in the Woods Art Fair returns to St. Germain Chamber Park. Now in its 19th year, this beloved Northwoods tradition brings together more than 50 regional artists showcasing pottery, paintings, photography, wood carvings, jewelry, handmade candles, and other one-of-a-kind creations.
