This year at The Pineapple Initiative, you’re a devoted fan at the thirtieth anniversary celebration of Rune Dahl, the nineties rock frontman turned wellness guru. He’s writing a memoir. He says it will set some things right. Not everyone in the room is looking forward to reading it.

You’ll follow evidence through shops across downtown Saint Johns, trade suspicions over a three-course Saturday dinner, and retreat each night to The Pink Pumpkin, the only suite with its own private porch (plus a jetted tub for when the interrogations get to you).

Well. There will be.

This Halloween weekend, our historic inn and the whole of downtown St. Johns become the scene of a crime, and you're not watching it unfold. You're in it. You'll arrive as a character, spend the weekend in role, and chase real clues from shop to shop across town before it all comes to a head at a candlelit dinner where someone finally names the killer.

Most murder mysteries happen in one room. Ours takes over Main Street.

The Nordic Pineapple is looking for a part-time housekeeper to join our team. This is an expansion position with competitive pay in a beautiful bed and breakfast setting.

🕒 Hours are typically between 11 AM and 4 PM (most days are closer to 11–1 or 2)
📅 Weekend and holiday availability is required (not every weekend)
📌 Flexibility is key—we’re looking for someone with a can-do attitude who can adapt to the needs of the inn
💼 This is a 1099 position
