Crystal Grove Diamond Mine & Campground Herkimer Diamond Mine, Campground and Gift Shop! Our Camp Store is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily during our camping season.

We do let you mine until sunset here at Crystal Grove! Herkimer Diamonds are a rare form of quartz crystal found only in a specific district of New York State. Our campground is a very short walk across the foot bridge to our mining area, which is accessible by foot, bike, stroller or vehicle. We have camp sites for tents (with or without electric) or RVs, and also a few beautiful, yet rustic camping cabins. Check our website for more details on rates and pictures of our grounds! We are open for camping until Columbus Day, and day-mining until October 12th!
