✨ **EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH: IAN MOREHEAD!** ✨

Some magic happens right in front of you. And some of it happens quietly, behind the scenes, in the **wee hours of the morning** — while the rest of us are fast asleep. 🌙✨

For nearly **32 years**, Ian Morehead has been a part of our Convention Services team, working his incredible magic overnight to bring unforgettable events to life.

Think about that for a moment… **for more than half of the time this wonderful building has been in existence, Ian has been working inside these walls.** And throughout those years, he has helped bring some of life’s most cherished moments to life — weddings, celebrations, parties, milestone events, and memories that our guests will carry with them forever.

And the behind-the-scenes work? It isn’t always easy. Last-minute changes, unexpected requests, long nights, and sometimes just **Ian** to make it all happen. And somehow, he does it — with a true **“whatever it takes”** attitude and a dedication to making sure the event is ready, right down to the very last detail.

That kind of commitment, experience, and dedication deserves to be celebrated.

**Today, we are SO happy that we get to celebrate YOU, Ian!** Thank you for nearly 32 years of making the magic happen, for being someone our team can count on, and for helping create memories that last long after the lights go down.

Congratulations, Ian, on being named our **Employee of the Month!** 🎉

Here’s to the guy behind the magic — and to all the incredible events still to come! ✨

✨💙 WHEN GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT PARTNERS & GREAT HOSPITALITY COME TOGETHER… SOMETHING SPECIAL HAPPENS! 💙✨

We are still smiling after welcoming our friends at Sysco Guest Supply to the InterContinental St. Paul Riverfront for their event!

And then… they sent us the SWEETEST thank-you. Naturally, we had to share the love!

Because behind every great event is a whole team quietly making the magic happen—and we have some pretty AMAZING people to brag about!

🌟 JENNIFER ANDERSON — “those beautiful place card holders at Monday night’s dinner were such a thoughtful touch!” It’s those little details that make a big difference and turn a dinner into something guests remember.

🌟 CAT LEMKE + OUR INCREDIBLE CATERING TEAM — you knocked it out of the park! 👏 The food received rave reviews, the service was attentive and accommodating, and apparently our local popcorn (Thank you to another partner and downtown St. Paul business - Candy Land St. Paul!)🍿 deserves its own standing ovation!

And Cat… sending vegetable soup to a guest who wasn’t feeling well?! That isn’t just hospitality, that’s inspiring incredible 🥰

It’s the big moments AND the tiny moments. It’s anticipating what someone might need. It’s noticing when someone needs a little extra care. It’s making people feel welcomed, looked after and genuinely cared about.

That’s our team. And we couldn’t be prouder. ✨

To our friends at Sysco Guest Supply—THANK YOU!

Thank you for choosing the InterContinental St. Paul Riverfront. Thank you for trusting us with your event. Thank you for the incredibly kind words. And thank you for being such a wonderful partner.

And if your business is looking for a partner for all things hospitality supplies - Check out our friends at Sysco Guest Supply! They’re an incredible resource for hospitality and business supply needs, and we’re proud to call them a partner.

And if YOU are looking for a place to bring your next meeting, conference, celebration, dinner, gathering or just-about-any-reason-to-get-a-group-of-great-people-together event…

✨ COME SEE US! ✨

We’ll bring the beautiful setting overlooking the Mississippi, the delicious food, the thoughtful details, the Minnesota touches, the smiles, and a team that genuinely LOVES making people feel welcome.

Because at the end of the day, hospitality isn't just about what we serve or where you meet. It's about how we make people FEEL while they're here.

And when our partners leave feeling cared for, appreciated and already looking forward to coming back?

✨THAT’S THE KIND OF REVIEW THAT MAKES OUR WHOLE TEAM SPARKLE. ✨

Thank you, Sysco Guest Supply, for letting us host you, for celebrating our team, and for being part of our InterContinental St. Paul Riverfront community of incredible partners.

Come back soon—we’ll have the popcorn ready! 🍿✨

✨ IF THESE WINDOWS COULD TALK… ✨

For 60 years, these windows have sat high above the Mississippi River, watching St. Paul change, grow, celebrate, and make history.

They’ve seen the good.

They’ve seen a little of the bad.

They’ve watched seasons come and go, city lights shine, celebrations unfold, and countless stories begin.

But most importantly, they’ve watched people.

From our days as the Hilton, to the Radisson, to the Crowne Plaza, and now as the InterContinental St. Paul Riverfront, our team has had the incredible privilege of being here for some of life’s most memorable moments — weddings, anniversaries, milestones, business gatherings, family celebrations, romantic getaways, and those simple moments that become memories long after check-out.

For 60 years, we’ve been a place where people come to celebrate something incredible… and sometimes, simply to get away from it all.

And after all these years, one thing hasn’t changed:

We’re still here. Still watching over the river. Still making memories. Still waiting to welcome you.

So whether you’re celebrating something extraordinary or just looking for a quick one-night getaway…

Welcome in.

We’ve been expecting you. 🥂✨
