If you’re spending the summer with us at Black Rock RV Village, you’ve probably noticed there’s a lot happening around the park. It’s definitely not our typical summer.

We’ve broken ground on the new hot tub and pool resurfacing project, the Hacienda is being remodeled, and the office and mailroom are getting a complete facelift. We also have a brand new electrical panel on T row - now we’re just waiting for APS to bring in the transformer. Any day now.

It’s been busy and sometimes hectic this summer, but we’re making great progress. We can’t wait for everyone to see the fresh new look when the fall and winter season arrives.

To our residents and guests who are still here: Thank you for your patience while we work toward making Black Rock even better. We know these improvements have caused some inconvenience, and we truly appreciate your understanding.

Today is especially meaningful as America celebrates 250 years of independence, freedom, and the enduring spirit that has shaped our nation since 1776.

We’re especially grateful for the many veterans who call Black Rock home, whether year round, for the season or just a visit. Thank you for your service, your sacrifices, and your commitment to protecting the freedoms we enjoy every day. We are honored to have you as part of our community.

As friends and neighbors gather to celebrate this Independence Day, we hope your day is filled with family, laughter, good food, and lasting memories.

Summer at Black Rock looks a little different. The snowbirds have headed north, the desert has quieted down, and the mornings start extra early around here before the Arizona sun reminds everyone who’s really in charge.

Even during the slower season, there’s plenty happening behind the scenes. Crews are working on improvements, cleanup projects, upgrades, and getting the park ready for another great season ahead. Some changes you can already see… and a few we’re keeping under wraps for now.

There’s something special about Black Rock in the summer. Quiet evenings, desert sunsets, monsoon clouds rolling in over the mountains, and the kind of calm you only really notice when the busy season fades out for a while.

We hope everyone out traveling this summer is staying safe, staying cool, and making memories. We’ll keep holding down the fort here in Brenda.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the true cost of freedom.

At Black Rock RV Village, we are honored to be surrounded by veterans, military families, and patriots who understand that Memorial Day is not simply a holiday. It is a day of remembrance for the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Their courage, sacrifice, and devotion will never be forgotten.

As we gather with friends, neighbors, and loved ones this weekend, we encourage everyone to take a quiet moment to reflect on those who gave everything so that we could live freely.

From all of us at Black Rock RV Village, thank you to the fallen heroes and the families who carry their legacy forward every day. 🇺🇸

Something big is happening at Black Rock RV Village… and if you’ve driven through the park lately, you’ve probably noticed the signs. 👀

Behind the scenes, we’ve been hard at work making major improvements across the property. The Hacienda is getting a fresh new look, our electrical upgrade project is entering its final stages, The roads are being reconditioned, and we’re already moving forward on plans for a resurfaced pool and an all-new hot tub area.

And we’re not stopping there.

This summer, we’re also looking ahead to additional upgrades to the office and motel rooms as we continue investing in the future of Black Rock RV Village.

We’re keeping some details under wraps for now, but trust us… the goal is simple: create a better experience for our residents and guests while continuing to build one of the best RV communities in the area.

More updates coming soon. 🔥

Your powers of observation are impressive. Yes, we have been up to something.

Right by the office, that gravel path you’ve seen taking shape is turning into a cactus garden walkway 🌵

We’re in the middle of gathering plants and features to build out a space where you can stroll, explore, and actually learn a thing or two about the different cacti that thrive out here in the desert. Not just decoration, this is going to be an experience.

It’s still a work in progress, but it’s coming together fast. We’ll share updates as it grows, so keep an eye out.
