Bonnie A. - This is why we call The Beach Cottages home. 16 years ago we met a family on the beach. Jenn and I stayed in contact, through social media, over the years. And here we are, randomly, both showing up in August. Such a thrill to see her sweet girl all grown up and in nursing school. What a blessing seeing them was. The Beach Cottages creates life long friendships with others who love this place as much as we do. It truly is home. ā›±ļø šŸ”

Good morning from beautiful Pacific Beach! We received a message from Ellen G. to share with everyone this week! Thank you Ellen for your wonderful message and photos!

Ellen G. - We've stayed at The Beach Cottages before, but decided to take our two sons and their spouses over 4th of July weekend this year. We had a fabulous time: mimosas on the balcony, looking for seashells on the beach, walking on the boardwalk and pier, and just hanging out! They absolutely loved it, so we've already booked for next year. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Good afternoon from Pacific Beach! We received this beautiful story from Travis H. that we would like to share with you all today! Thank you Travis and Gia for sharing your story and photos with us all!

Travis H. - For the last 8 years my wife Gia and I have been traveling to PB at least twice a year, including all but one wedding anniversary. The Beach Cottages came as a recommendation from some friends and we have not looked back after making the decision to book that first trip. It truly feels like our home away from home from here in Colorado. The vibe of The Beach Cottages in addition to the vibe of PB keeps drawing us back and truly makes vacation withdrawals hit harder than anywhere else weā€™ve experienced Between the friendly faces, short walks to the beach, grabbing a coffee by the lobby before a beach walk and a feeling no one can describe unless youā€™ve experienced it, thereā€™s no place weā€™d rather be than the West Wing, 3rd floor overlooking Thomas Street on a 70 and sunny day in Americaā€™s Finest City! Thank you for being the great thing you are!

Good morning! This week's story is from the Ramirez family! We thank you for all your hard work compiling so many amazing photos and sharing your family's Beach Cottages story with all of us! We appreciate all of your effort!

Le Ann - Itā€™s hard to put into words what The Beach Cottages means to our family...but Iā€™m sure that most people reading this can relate to this.

Every family has their own story, this is ours..

My husband and I came across The Beach Cottages back in 2004 while taking a walk on the boardwalk.. we really liked the way they looked so homey and cozy so we went inside to ask about reserving a room a night in the near future and we found out that it wasnā€™t that easy.. we were told that people sometimes book a year ahead! This made us really want to see what the big deal was! As time went on we decided that for our honeymoon we would book a room there.. that was almost 20 years ago! And the rest is history!

The Beach Cottages have become such an important part of our familyā€™s memories. Our kids have known their vacations every year at The Beach Cottages for most of their lives. Over the last 20 years weā€™ve brought so many family members with us.. our parents, almost all of our siblings, nieces and nephews, cousins, close friends, and now even our grandchildren!

Weā€™ve celebrated Easter many times at The Beach Cottages as well as many birthdays. Our kids learned to play ping pong on the original ping pong tables and grew up running around with their cousins all over the grounds of the cottages. The memories from The Beach Cottages are endless in our family.. whether itā€™s Easter egg hunts, learning to grill, late night game nights or even taking senior photos.. they are all memories that are engraved in our hearts forever..

Over the last 20 years we have seen The Beach Cottages go through many changes but the heart of The Beach Cottages is what keeps us coming back.. the thing that made us want to go 20 years ago.. that home like feeling that we get every time we go.. it is and will always be our home away from home.
