It is the historic 1820's home of Juan Bandini and the 1869 constructed Cosmopolitan Hotel. The modern Cosmopolitan Restaurant & Hotel is located in the heart of Old Town San Diego State Historic Park. Join us for a meal, a drink, a look around or a cozy overnight stay.

In the 1870s, The Cosmopolitan Hotel was once again the social center of town—but this time for galas, raffles and weddings! The building itself was the perfect representation of Old Town in that time period, a mix of Mexican-style adobe and American woodframe buildings. Some would consider it the hotel’s heyday, and it was certainly the place to be with Albert and Emily Seeley sparing no expense for guests.
