There are seasons when meaning feels clear and seasons when it feels distant.

Not every chapter is meant to be productive or decisive. Some are meant to deepen, refine, or prepare us for what comes next. Wonder allows meaning to unfold without demand, reminding us that growth is often happening long before we can name it.

If you’re longing for a deeper understanding of yourself and the story that’s shaped you, join us for Wired: Discovering Your Unique Design on August 28–30. Through tools like your personal Timeline, the Enneagram, and Working Genius, you’ll gain fresh insight into how you’re uniquely wired to lead and love.

One of our favorite places on the property in the summer is the pool.

It holds a lot of laughter in the warmer months. Conversations loosen and time stretches. No one is trying to be productive. That is part of the point. Rest can be playful and still be deeply restorative.

This is where ease shows up naturally.

Some of the biggest changes in life happen quietly.

No big announcement. No visible milestone. Just a slow internal shift where the way you think, believe, relate, or move through the world starts to change.

A lot of growth looks like outgrowing old patterns, questioning beliefs that once felt certain, or realizing some relationships no longer fit the person you’re becoming. Even when no one else can see those changes, they are still real and they still deserve care, patience, and support.

If you’ve been feeling in-between versions of yourself lately, we’d love to have you join us for a retreat at The Oaks. Our retreats are designed to create space for reflection, growth, and meaningful conversations along the way. Find out more through the link in our bio.

Somewhere along the way, a lot of us stopped playing.

Life gets busy. We become focused on being productive, responsible, efficient, or successful, and slowly the things that once brought us joy start feeling unnecessary or indulgent.

But play matters. Doing something simply because it makes you laugh, feel alive, or connected to yourself is not a waste of time. It’s often how we reconnect with ease, creativity, wonder, and rest.

Sometimes joy returns when we stop trying so hard to earn it.

If you’ve been craving more lightness, connection, or space to just be, we’d love to have you join us for a retreat at The Oaks. Our retreats are designed to hold both meaningful reflection and genuine delight. Find out more through the link in our bio.

That book idea. That story. That message you’ve been meaning to put into words.

What if this was the year you stopped thinking about it and started writing it?

Join Bob Goff and friends November 16–18 for Writer’s Retreat at The Oaks. Whether you’re writing for a crowd, your community, or simply yourself, this weekend is designed to help you move from “someday” to “let’s do this.”

You’ll leave with practical tools, fresh inspiration, and the confidence to put your words out into the world.

Sometimes we keep showing up for everyone around us long after we’ve run out of energy to give. We push past our limits, tell ourselves we’ll rest later, and slowly start confusing burnout with responsibility.

But limits are not failures. They’re signals.

Taking care of yourself is not selfish. It’s how we stay connected to ourselves, our relationships, and the things that matter most before exhaustion turns into resentment or disconnection.

If you’ve been craving space to reset, reconnect, and better understand yourself, we’d love to have you join us for a retreat at The Oaks. Our retreats are designed to create room for rest, reflection, and meaningful growth. Find out more through the link in our bio.

The reason to return to the same questions is not to fix anything. It is to build rhythm.

Over time, these check ins create perspective. You begin to notice patterns instead of isolated moments. You see what consistently wears you down, what reliably restores you, and what remains steady underneath changing circumstances. If you keep your answers and revisit them in December, they often tell a much clearer story than memory alone. They help name what wants to be released, what deserves more space, and what is worth carrying forward.

That is the heart of our December retreat, A Year in Review. It is designed to help you look back with honesty, gather what matters, and step into the next year with intention rather than urgency.

Follow along for your monthly reminder & sign up for the Year in Review Retreat December 4-6 through the link in our bio.

Friendships can shift so quietly over time. Not always because something happened, but simply because life changes people.

Some friendships still feel easy, mutual, and life-giving. Others start to feel held together more by history, routine, or who you used to be together.

Growth changes relationships. Some friendships grow deeper through it, and some start to feel harder to hold onto in the same way they once did. That doesn’t mean anyone failed. Sometimes it just means you’re being honest about what feels true in this season of life.

If you’ve been wanting to better understand yourself and the people in your life, we’d love to have you join us for a retreat at The Oaks. These weekends are designed to create space for reflection, connection, and conversations that matter. Find out more through the link in our bio.
