Sanwar is holding a special activity this October. For any Camper who is interested, we are giving out 30% off discounts for Oct. 7th - 10th to come camp and help decorate our Sanwar Kaolin Parade Float!. Must be a three night minimum within the stated timeframe (7th-10th).

About the Kaolin Parade:

As most of you already know, we are located in Sandersville, GA inside Washington Co. Sandersville has been known for nearly 100 years as "The Kaolin Capital of the World". If you don't know what Kaolin is, just google it. Every year for the past 70 years, Sandersville has held a Kaolin Festival and Parade that the community is heavily involved in. This year, being the 70th anniversary, Sanwar is going big.

We thought it would be neat to have our Campers involved in decorating our float for the parade so they can also feel like part of our little town's history and best represent Sanwar. Our resort is a big part of the community and so are the Campers that stay with us.

If you are interested in being a part of this, please call 478-412-0084 to get the discounted booking and have your name put on the list of helpers. This can't be applied with other discounts.

In addition but separate to the float, all campers who want to participate that weekend can decorate their own personal Golf Carts to ride behind the float (we will transport your carts to the start of the parade) - This is not applicable for the 30% off unless you are also helping decorate the float as stated above.

Bring out your favorite ride and join us as we cruise through Sandersville with stops at SanWar RV Park & Resort and The Dairylane!
This year’s cruise is extra special as we come together to raise awareness for Dravet Syndrome. 💜

Here is the info for our part of the event:

12pm - Sanwar Soda Shop! Root Beer/Coke Floats and a "Build your own Milkshake" station!

7:30pm - The Car Cruise-In arrives at Sanwar and will park @ the booking office where the buffalo statue is.

7-10pm - DJ T.Wright will spin up some classic 60's and dance music!!!
