From the Ranch to the Ring: The Road Trip | Episode 2
The horses are loaded, the coffee is strong, and we're Fort Worth bound! 🐴🚛

Come along as the Western Pleasure Guest Ranch crew hauls to the 2026 Appaloosa World Show. We start with a barn send-off before dawn, then roll through Montana with a sunrise, a stop west of Bozeman and a hello from Billings. We end the day under a gorgeous moon in Sheridan, Wyoming.

Then the road throws us a curveball, and we get stuck in Casper! 😅 We make the most of it at the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo, battle the Wyoming wind, and soak up the sun. After a 4:00 a.m. wake-up and one LONG day on the road, we finally make it to move-in day...

Here's the update about the exciting adventure we have planned! Fawn and Ned are packing their bags (okay, we're packing their bags) and heading to Fort Worth for the 2026 Appaloosa World Show!

These two aren't just any Appys. They were born and raised right here at the ranch, from generations of our own homegrown horses. Seeing them head to the World Show is a pretty proud moment for all of us.

This is Danielle and Janice's first trip to the World Show, and let's just say the excitement level is somewhere between "kid on Christmas morning" and "horse who just heard the feed bucket." 😄 We've spent the year putting in the work, and now it's time to see what our spotted partners can do on the big stage in the ranch classes.
We're so grateful for the chance to be there. We'll bring home everything we learn, plus probably too many photos.

When we're not here at the ranch welcoming all of you, you might wonder what some of us get up to. Well — this year, Danielle, Janice, Libby and Emily have been busy in the saddle! Between us, we've made it to nine horse shows, two week long horse camps, and four clinics, competing in ranch events and soaking up everything we can.

Everyone here at the ranch shares the same commitment to becoming better horsemen and horsewomen. Every show, every camp, every clinic teaches us something new — and we bring all of it home, so the whole team keeps growing alongside the horses we love and the guests we get to share them with.

We've got an exciting adventure on the horizon that we can't wait to tell you about... but you'll have to stay tuned. More soon!
