🦋 Pointe Santo Legacy Walk Update 🦋

We’re excited to share that we’ve already sold 30 personalized pavers and 54 replica coasters for the Pointe Santo Legacy Walk project!

We’ll be sending our first batch of pavers to be engraved early next week. If you’d like your paver to be included in this first group to be installed, please place your order by Monday, July 27th.

Once submitted, the engraving and shipping process is expected to take approximately 6–8 weeks, so we anticipate the first pavers will be installed sometime in late October, early November.

☀️ JOIN IN ON THE FUN! ☀️

⛱️ From Shell Bingo and custom Pointe Santo T-shirts to tropical wind chimes and beach bag decorating, our young guests are staying busy making memories and getting creative all week long.

⛱️ Be sure to stop by the office or pavilion and say hello to Kennedy, our new Children’s Program Coordinator! Kennedy has jumped right in and is doing a wonderful job creating a fun and welcoming experience for our younger guests.

⛱️ And while you’re there, don’t forget to say hi to Mandy as well! She continues to be play central role in making our activities program such a special part of the Pointe Santo experience.

⛱️ Thank you to the dynamic duo, Mandy and Kennedy, for helping create the family-friendly atmosphere that makes Pointe Santo so special. We hope to see lots of smiling faces at Paradise Pointe Pavilion this week! 😃

Pointe Santo is proud to once again participate in the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation’s (SCCF) Adopt-A-Beach Sea Turtle Program for the 2026 nesting season.

Each year, SCCF biologists and volunteers monitor and protect sea turtle nests along Sanibel and Captiva’s beaches. Through this program, Pointe Santo helps support the important research, monitoring, conservation, and protection efforts that help keep these threatened and endangered species safe during nesting and hatching season.

Sea turtle nesting season on Sanibel runs from May 1 through October 31, although monitoring activities often begin earlier in April. Loggerhead turtles are the most common species to nest on our beaches, with green sea turtles also returning each year.

If you are enjoying the beach during sea turtle season, please help us keep Pointe Santo turtle-friendly:

• Turn off or shield lights visible from the beach after dark
• Avoid flashlights, phone lights, and flash photography on the beach at night
• Remove beach chairs, toys, and equipment from the beach each evening
• Fill in holes and level sandcastles before leaving the beach
• Stay away from marked nests and never disturb nesting turtles or hatchlings
• Properly dispose of trash and fishing line

Artificial light and obstacles on the beach can disorient nesting turtles and hatchlings, preventing them from reaching the Gulf safely.

We are honored to continue supporting SCCF’s incredible conservation work and helping protect one of Sanibel’s most treasured wildlife traditions for future generations.
