A big thank-you to Sanibel City Manager Dana Souza for sharing this exciting update on the Sanibel Fishing Pier! After being damaged by Hurricane Ian, the pier is moving closer to reopening, with temporary repairs expected to be completed by the end of November. Today’s groundbreaking is a major milestone for our Island, made possible by the community’s generous support and everyone who helped bring this project forward. We’re grateful to all involved and can’t wait to be back on our fishing pier!
