Roaring Camp is hosting their Moonlight Train Dinner Party on Sunday September 6, 2026. Treat yourself with an evening of a hearty BBQ dinner (Vegan options available) while enjoying the live musical entertainment. There will be some line dancing, followed by a leisurely train ride aboard the vintage railway cars that span over 100 years.

Up top on the mountain, the steam train will stop at the top of Bear Mountain to serve hot c***r and musical entertainment.

So if you enjoy BBQ dinners, campfire, live music, dancing, and of course, riding old railroad trains, purchase tickets as soon as possible because they sell out QUICKLY.
Our guests at the Seaway Inn are provided with a coupon code for each ticket. So if you miss this event, you can still use this for other events steam train rides.

The Natural Bridges State Beach is a 65-acre California state park located along West Cliff Drive, Santa Cruz, CA, known for it’s iconic wave-carved mudstone sea arch, and for its seasonal monarch butterfly migration.

Located along the rocky cliffs, this location offers great low-tide viewing for sea stars, crabs, and other sea creatures.

While the Santa Cruz Boardwalk free movie nights are over, over at Capitola Village they are still holding their own Friday movie nights for FREE as well. Located at the Esplanade Park, this Friday August 28th at 7:30PM, Capitola Village will be screening Zootopia 2.

Location is at 120 Monterey Ave, Capitola, CA.

So bring your family, some lawn chairs, and some blankets to enjoy!

This is the Wilder Ranch State Park, a 2.5-mile, 2-hour family-friendly walk where you can explore the plants, animals, and geology of the Santa Cruz County coastal bluffs. It’s one of the few state parks around Santa Cruz where the long trails are right along the coast of Santa Cruz and against the cliffs.

It is located in the West Side of Santa Cruz along highway 1, which is somewhat close to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Consider visiting if you would like a hike right next to the ocean.
