Breakfast delivered to your room. A walk through town just to enjoy the crisp fall air. Maybe a stop by the water, maybe not.
Then back to the hotel for a board game, a glass of w**e, and a good fall movie on in the background.

Nothing elaborate. Just a really good way to spend an October morning in Saugatuck.

Whoever started the rumor that Saugatuck packs up and heads south after Labor Day clearly hasn't been here in October. 🍂

The shops are still welcoming visitors, the restaurants are still setting their tables, and the people who make this little lakeside town so special are still here, doing what they do best.

Summer may bring the crowds, but there's something wonderful about Saugatuck after Labor Day. Familiar faces, cozy corners, and a downtown that feels a little more like it's yours to discover.

So don't wait until Memorial Day to come back. There's plenty to fall in love with here, all year long.

At The Hotel Saugatuck, our housekeepers have up to two hours to turn a guest room — time to work through a 55-step cleaning checklist, make the bed just right, notice the details and care for the things you may never consciously see.
And when they’re finished, the room still isn’t considered guest ready.

Every room undergoes two final inspections, including a review by front desk management, before we welcome the next guest through the door.
