Now this is what we call a picnic! Not exactly sure if there was anything "special" going on & we certainly weren't about to interrupt to ask. ☺️

But, as you walk around Savannah, you can't help but get caught up in these moments that are just pure bliss!

Halloween just hits a little different in Savannah! The decorations are amazing & so much fun. I feel like we see different things in the day vs the same display at night.

It's been so fun strolling though town checking out how everyone is decorating. Thank you to everyone who put these up so we can enjoy spooky season that much more.

Here's what a stay at The Abilene looks like.

Porch coffee overlooking Forsyth Park before anyone's fully awake. Three full bathrooms, so getting ready together doesn't mean a shower schedule. Original 1891 details, picture rails, brass hardware, 11-foot ceilings, mixed in with the comfortable, modern things a group actually needs. Some of our favorite details are the ones guests never have to ask about. In a house built in 1891, outlets can be few and far between, so every bedroom has a charging station right by the bed. No crawling under the furniture to plug in your phone.

The best amenity might be the thing you never had to ask for.

Savannah has lots of stories to be told & Malcom from Savannah Untold Walking Tours was a really great guide in telling some of the captivating & mysterious ones. He had a really fun way of blending the urban legends & myths with the factual details of Savannah’s history.

It's a great way to spend a little time walking the squares & getting to know some of Savannah’s secrets! We had fun hearing some new things we never know before. Sometimes it's fun to be a tourist & learn more about the city you love!
