Silver Spruce B&B The Silver Spruce Inn is an 8 room bed and breakfast adjacent to Schroon River Falls. The cast iron bath tubs date from 1928.

The Silver Spruce Inn is located in a building erected by wealthy brass heiress Sally Miller Smith, a friend of Eleanor Roosevelt. The walls of all rooms are western cedar and the stair steps are built of American Chestnut, a now extinct tree.
