Situated in the rolling hills of Fayette County, Hattie’s Haus is located directly halfway between the cities of Schulenburg and La Grange in the community of Swiss Alp on Highway 77. The home features 4 bedrooms and one full bath. The house comfortably sleeps 10 people with 3 bedrooms housing queen size beds and a bunk room that sleeps 4 single beds. Three bedrooms are located upstairs and one be

droom is downstairs. The house is fully furnished and decorated. The home was purchased by the current owner’s great-great grandfather in 1876. The home and farm have been in the same family for 138 years. The house was occupied by the family until 2001. After that point, the home fell into disrepair until the current family owner restored it to its former glory from 2011-13. The home is now available for rent for weekdays, weekends, and special events.
