We are a Family Oriented campground w/ RV sites & primitive tent sites, small livery services available as well as tours to local vineyards & breweries.

Privately Owned and Operated for 20 years. RV year around. Tent sites available April to November. Location: from I-64 take Exit 121-A South onto Route 20 approximately 18 miles to Scottsville cross arch bridge. Take next left onto Route 783/125 Snowden Road Campground is on your left at end of road

PETS ALLOWED 25lbs or LESS and on leash at all times. Check-in time 2PM til 9PM
Check-out time 1PM

Welcome to Horseshoe Flats 🤍

My husband and I bought this campground from my parents 8 years ago, who owned and loved it since the 1990s. They took so much pride in this place, and we’re proud to continue that tradition today. We’ve updated some things along the way, and although my husband has since passed, we carry his legacy on through this place too.

How to book:
Give us a call! We don’t use online booking sites because we like to keep things a little more personal around here.

Horseshoe Flats is quiet luxury in its own way. No overcrowded resorts or flashy amenities, just peaceful riverside camping, tubing, family time, and the kind of place that’s getting harder and harder to find anymore.

We’re located just across the bridge from the beautiful little town of Scottsville and only a short drive from some of the best wineries Virginia has to offer.

We book up fast, so be sure to reserve your spot early 🎊
