It's International Coffee Day and here's a group of Seasiders enjoying a coffee break at Robb's Donut Shop, from a very attentive group of staff. This was located on Broadway, where the Carousel Mall is today.

Does anyone recognize Gene Legg? He was the pharmacist and owner of Legg's Pharmacy which was also located at the northeast corner of the current Carousel Mall.

It looks like a good day to get a coffee and maybe even a donut too!

👉Herring alert!

Q: What kind of fish will help you hear better? 👂🏼
A: A herring aid 😁

We are still in need of herring for the hungry Murres in our care. Let's send them back to the wild with full bellies!

Please drop by with any bait herring 5" or under, or give us a call on our hotline.

The Murres thank you!

Join us at the Flavel House this month as we celebrate Victorian Halloween season! Nellie & Katie Flavel, like many Victorians in the late 1800s, enjoyed celebrating Halloween, or "All Hallowe'en." Can you find all 13 spooky items scattered throughout the house like: a crystal ball, a Golden Wheel Fortune Teller, and lots of "spirit photography".....like the one you see here of Captain Flavel! Wait, is he there, or not?!?! 👻 🍂 Happy Flavel Friday! 🎃🍂
