🌲 From fire scar to flood debris — this is one watershed, and it's all connected.

Photographer Greg Conn captured the land above Flagstaff coming back to life after the Pocket Fire. Downstream in Oak Creek Canyon, we live the other side of it: flooding keeps slamming our bridge at TinyCamp. That's our creek crossing in these clips.

Friends of the Verde River has restored 12,000+ acres of riparian habitat since 2011, funded 116 community grants since 2021, and saves 500M+ gallons of water a year. TinyCamp is a River Friendly Living certified project — our third — and we wholeheartedly support this work.
