🎶 Proud Sponsor of the 12th Annual Rhode Island Folk Festival! 🎶

TownePlace Suites by Marriott Seekonk is proud to support one of Rhode Island's favorite summer traditions, the Rhode Island Folk Festival, taking place on Sunday, August 30 from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM at beautiful Crescent Park in East Providence! The festival features three stages of live music, artisan vendors, food trucks, a b**r garden, a children's Sound Garden, and it's completely FREE to attend! Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to support the RI Community Food Bank.

Even better? We're located just 15 minutes from Crescent Park, making TownePlace Suites the perfect place to stay while you enjoy the festivities.

We can't wait to see everyone celebrating great music and supporting our local community 🥳

🎉 What an incredible day!

Yesterday, we proudly celebrated the official Ribbon Cutting of the new TownePlace Suites by Marriott Seekonk / Providence, marking an exciting new chapter for The Darling Group.

A heartfelt thank you to our community partners, elected officials, development team, sponsors, and everyone who joined us to celebrate this special milestone. We are especially grateful to Representative Steven Howitt, the Massachusetts State Senate and Senate President Karen E. Spilka, the Town of Seekonk, One SouthCoast, Bristol County Savings Bank, Opechee Construction Corporation, CM&B, db2/ARCHitecture, Whole Foods Market , Raising Cane's, Moonshine Alley, BR Guest, Cox Media , and Friends of Homeless Animals, INC of RI (FOHA) for helping make the day so memorable.

The best surprise of the day? One of FOHA's adorable puppies found its forever home with one of our event attendees. ❤️🐾 We couldn't have imagined a better ending!

Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us. We look forward to welcoming guests to the newest extended-stay hotel just minutes from Downtown Providence!
