Don’t Let Leaves Choose the Drainage Plan

Leaves look beautiful on the mountains.
They are much less charming packed into gutters, covering drains, trapping moisture, or collecting around equipment.
Fall cleanup isn’t only about appearance. It helps water move where it should and keeps seasonal debris from creating preventable property problems.
If the trees have been busy, your gutters and drainage areas probably have been too.

Having a fire extinguisher in the property is a start.
It also needs to be visible, accessible, appropriate for the location, in usable condition, and included in the property’s regular safety review.
An extinguisher hidden behind stored items or left unchecked for years may not offer the protection an owner assumes it does.
Safety equipment should be verified—not simply remembered.
