We own and operate 9 world class fly fishing lodges, we look after every detail at the lodge and in Word of mouth is still our biggest marketing action today.

We claim to be the first ever lodge owners to have catered for ladies, and we saw that it was important before many others did. At first we did it because making women comfortable with the amenities they would find at a 5 star hotel, would allow their husbands to come back year after year. Then the ladies started fishing, and more couples kept coming, and looking back I think that was our magic re

cipe. We have achieved the highest repeat client percentage in the industry and we generate excellent word of mouth. Simply our great clients tell their friends about us, and then their friends come to visit us as well.

The Río Grande's sea-run browns belong in a category of their own. Most weeks of the season Villa Maria Lodge, someone in camp ends up tailing a fish over 20 pounds. It comes down to expert guides, access to prime beats on the river, and knowing exactly when and where these fish move, and it's all the more reason to make the trip.

Talk to the guides at Suinda Lodge and they'll tell you: the dorado of the upper Paraná rarely give themselves away on the sand flats. It's the sábalo that talk first, bunching up tight and pushing into water shallower than they'd like to be. Sometimes, that's the cue to leave the boat and close the distance on foot. These fish blend into the sandy bottom so well that reading the signs matters more than trusting your own eyes. When one finally shows itself, there's no mistaking it, and you better be ready.
