On June 6, 1944, Allied Forces' service members landed in Normandy in an act of immense courage.

This photo shows U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Soldiers conducting a commemorative jump in 2025, using static‑line parachutes from 800–1,200 feet, like the 1944 descent.
