Located on 120 acres in Sherrodsville, Ohio, Camp Excel is a growing destination for athletics, camps, retreats, events, and overnight stays.
Our campus features:
• 7 outdoor courts
• 9 indoor courts
• 10 football/soccer fields
• 17 cabins
• 17 dorms
• 4 apartments
• 3 townhouses
• Event and dining space
• Commercial kitchen and cafeteria
• Walking trails and outdoor spaces
But Camp Excel is about more than facilities. Our purpose is to create an environment where people grow physically, mentally, and spiritually through faith, honor, maturity, discipline, perseverance, loyalty, and generosity.

We’re excited to welcome Trisha Shamp as our Director of Volleyball Operations at Xcel Athletics!
Trisha will lead the development of our volleyball programs, including camps, clinics, leagues, and training opportunities. Her role will focus on helping athletes grow in their skills, character, and leadership.
At Camp Excel, we believe athletics provides an opportunity to invest in young people and help them strive for excellence on and off the court. We look forward to seeing Trisha lead our volleyball program and make a lasting impact on the athletes and families we serve.
