Good news for spring adventurers visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park! 🌲

Hiking and biking are currently allowed along the closed sections of the park road, which makes for a really peaceful and beautiful way to experience the park before the summer crowds arrive. Please keep in mind that snow removal and road clearing operations are still underway, so a little extra caution is appreciated.

This year brought a lighter snowpack than usual, so the park is expected to have an earlier road opening than in many past seasons — always exciting news for Lassen visitors!

Mountain weather and conditions can change quickly, so we recommend checking current park updates before heading out. Have fun exploring and enjoy all the fresh mountain air and amazing scenery! 😊
