Adele's Bed & Breakfast Nestled along the banks of the Youghiogheny River in Smithton PA, Adele’s B&B offers quaint accomm It has remained in my family ever since.

HISTORY:
Adele’s B & B was originally built in 1893 by the Smith Family and was known as the Smith House. It was later purchased by the Jones Family, owners and brewers of the locally famous Stoney’s Beer. It was then purchased from the Jones Family by my grandfather John Batista-Ottino in 1940. Ottino’s Bar, Restaurant and Hotel was in operation until 1991 when our family had to close the bar. T

he restaurant closed years earlier to care for my grandmother who was the heart and soul of the hotel. At one time there were seventeen family members living here. My gram would always say, “everybody feels at home here – nobody wants to leave”

Adele’s Bed & Breakfast offers quaint accommodations designed to help you feel at home and as though you stepped back in time. We have 4 rooms available with additional options for larger groups. We are nestled along the bank of the Youghiogheny River in Smithton Borough and just 0.3 miles from the Great Allegheny Passage also known as the Yough River Trail. Due to people making multiple location reservations and canceling at the last minute ,our cancellation policy has changed. It is now a month from date of reservation you will charged 50% rate and a week out from date of reservation you will be charged 100% of rate Filling rooms at short notice is impossable because reservation are made months in advance.
