Smith's Fork Campground is tucked away in the back of Smith's Fork Park. Each site has electricity, water, and sewer connections.

There are restrooms and a shower house on the site. The Campground is open April 1 to October 31.

LAST OPEN WEEKEND AT SMITH’S FORK CAMPGROUND!

What an incredible camping season! A HUGE thank-you to all of our campers who made this season our best one yet! We couldn’t think of a better way to wrap up the season than with Smithville’s Haunted Campground last weekend, which was our BIGGEST EVENT YET! (Photos coming soon!!)

A special thank-you to our wonderful camp hosts, Chris and Janet! We truly couldn’t do it without you, and we’re so grateful for everything you do to make Smith’s Fork Campground such a special place!

We’re so thankful for another amazing season and can’t wait to welcome everyone back in 2027! Until then, mark your calendars for these important dates:

~Camping Reservations Open: April 1, 2027, at 8AM
~Smithville’s Haunted Campground Reservations Open: August 2, 2027 at 8AM
~Smithville’s Haunted Campground Event: October 23, 2027

Reminder for Saturday! Park roads will close at 12:00 PM sharp to allow vendors and food trucks to set up. Please make sure all vehicles and campers are in place before noon!

If your guests arrive after 12:00 PM, they can park in the event parking lot and walk down to the campground. Please be sure to share this information with your guests ahead of time. Thank you!

Join us for our BIGGEST event of the year at Smith’s Fork Campground, presented by GT towing!

Enjoy festive trick-or-treating throughout the campground while checking out decorated campsites, food trucks, FREE games, local businesses and organizations, and a costume contest with prizes!

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE, CHECK OUT OUR EVENT MAP! Here are a few important reminders to help your visit go smoothly:

🚨Park Road Closures: Park roads will close at 12 PM to allow vendors and food trucks to set up. Please plan your arrival accordingly!

🚨Event Entrance & Parking: The event entrance is at the TOP OF THE DAM. Our event staff will direct you to parking once you arrive. Please follow their instructions.

🚨Accessible Parking & Shuttles: Accessible parking and shuttles will be available from the parking area to the campground. If you need accessible parking or shuttle assistance, please let event staff know when you are being directed to park.

🚨Event Gates: Gates open at 3:30 PM! Please plan to arrive with enough time to park and make your way to the campground.

🚨Information Booth: Stop by the info booth at the campground entrance for event merchandise! This will also be our designated **lost-child meeting location**.

Auction proceeds benefit:
✨Parks and Recreation Legacy Fund: The fund was established in 2013 to serve as a community foundation. The fund exists to improve the quality of life in the City of Smithville and the surrounding areas.

✨Larson's Cause: a non-profit organization that continues to help local children by providing financial assistance for their medical needs. Today the organization has assisted in helping 27+ families from the Smithville area and continues to raise money to support children with medical needs.
